A rhythmic squeak usually means dry hinges or rollers that need lubrication or replacement. Grinding often points to a worn opener gear or metal-on-metal contact in the track. Rattling can simply be loose hardware vibrating over time. A sudden, single loud bang is different — that's almost always a torsion spring breaking, and the door should not be used until it's inspected.
